“Everything we use in our daily life has either been grown or mined!”

In the first of our series Resources for Kids, the Natural Resources Forum is delighted to present an interview with Lucy Crane. Lucy is a senior geologist with Cornish Lithium currently exploring for lithium beneath the old mine workings at United Downs, near Redruth, United Kingdom. Sophia, a year 5 pupil, talks to Lucy about mining in general, and what role it plays in our everyday life. They talk about lithium and Sophia learns about the UK mining industry, the problem of climate change and what led Lucy to a career in mining.
