The Natural Resources Forum (The NRF) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation supported by members, sponsors, industry executives and businesses who align with our mission to drive the natural resources sector forward to make it equal, sustainable and diverse. The Forum plays a key thought-leadership role for the industry, bringing together a powerful global network of investors, corporates, advisers, government, academia and NGO's within the resources sector to discuss issues of relevance for the sustainable future growth and to address the challenges and opportunities all stakeholders are facing.

Jonathan Blanchard Smith

Jonathan Blanchard Smith works in complex, multi-national and multi-cultural environments. With a background ranging from New York to the more remote parts of the Middle East, he has occupied C level roles in public and private corporations, as well as in the Third Sector in the UK. He brings effective and naturally empathic leadership to organisations whether as their Chairman or as a corporate troubleshooter.
Jonathan is past Chairman of the Reform Club, one of London's senior Clubs. He is a graduate of Manchester University and St Catharine's College, University of Cambridge.

Natalia is running a Natural Resources Forum in London, an independent forum for mining and oil & gas companies to come together for presentations, discussion and debate with leading investors, analysts and senior industry advisors. Natalia has over 18 years’ experience working alongside natural resources companies assisting with M&A transactions, asset sale, capital raisings, crisis communications and strategic profile raising.
Natalia was Director of Corporate Communications and Company Secretary for Taurex Resources. Natalia has worked for Alfa Capital Markets in London and Halliburton International in Moscow. Natalia holds an MA in International Banking and Finance from London Metropolitan University and an MA in International Relations from Moscow State University.
Aymone Schendel

Previously at Park Place Capital, Oilexco and Canaccord Genuity, Aymone is an experienced entrepreneurial marketing, communications and investor relations professional with over 20 years experience, working in both corporate and institutional settings mainly across the natural resources sector. Aymone started her career in Washington DC at the Population Institute before moving on to work back in Hong Kong and mainland China in the medical scientific instrumentation sector. Aymone is a volunteer and currently Deputy Managing Director and Head of Events, and Conference Partnerships at Women in Mining UK.
