Need to know

SDX Energy, which is listed on TSX-V, was created in October 2015 as a result of the merger between SeaDragon Energy and Madison PetroGas. The company has a focus primarily on Egypt, with a portfolio of assets there underpinned by solid, low cost, onshore production. Whilst the strategy is predicated on production growth, SDX Energy’s portfolio also contains a number of exciting exploration prospects in both Cameroon and Egypt with transformational potential. The company has an active and fully funded work programme which will see three exploration wells and a number of development wells drilled in the next 18 months. With a strong balance sheet (no debt) and positive cash flow profile at current pricing, SDX is well placed to capitalise on opportunities resulting from the improved operating environment in Egypt.
